So today we went to the doctor for the first time, I know we waited a little bit, but we needed to get MedicAid and finally got it done. It was pretty exciting, first ultrasound! We got to hear our baby's heartbeat and it was awesome, we also got to see the baby moving, you could see the head, spine, legs, arms, and iPod! It's been 14 weeks total and Candice will be due in May 22, supposedly. Our next appointment will be in 4 weeks and we'll put some information about it.

1+1=3?

So this is the beginning of our blog and what a better way to start it that by letting our friends know that we're going to be parents!!! That's right, sometime at the end of may we'll have the blessing of having a baby in our home and upgrading our family! We don't know yet whether it will be a boy or a girl but Candice assures, actually she has decided that it will be a girl. She does have a lot of power let me tell you that. We are really happy and excited about it, sometimes it's hard to believe. Right now the size of the baby is about the same as the size of a grape. Her cravings have had a wide turn towards pizza and specially BURGERS!!! Oh my gosh, it is pretty funny how she craves a burger, even if it's McDonalds. The other day we were driving and we hadn't had dinner yet, she was starving and here is a picture of her asking for McDonalds.
Candice just got a new job working at the Department of Veteran Affairs, it's a small job she only works 10 hrs/week but she likes it a lot better that her last one, even though the discounts she got were pretty sweet. Marcel? Still serving/bartending at Cafe Sabor (www.cafesabor.com) and doing his graphic design stuff. He currently is finishing a magazine for the College of Engineering, and he's being doing some advertising for the restaurant and for the concerts Tom, Steve and him put up. It's a fun time!
